This initiative is having alignment with the Mission 300 acceleration team of the World Bank and UN aims to push for the inclusion of hybrid mini-grid as a pilot energy access solution across the South West Hubs and a replication to other African Hubs as part of the climate paris agreement alignment deal.

YEDIS, dedicated to youth development engagement, emphasizes the importance of sustainable energy solutions in empowering local communities. As part of this effort, further collaboration meetings are scheduled to unite youth development leaders from both regions involved in the pilot, fostering a shared commitment to sustainable progress and innovation in clean energy.

The coalition's is not just a necessary response to the pressing energy needs of these regions; it embodies a strategic approach that enhances the critical framework of the Civil Society Policy Framework of the World Bank By incorporating local insights and engaging youth, the coalition ensures that clean energy initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of the communities, driving sustainable development and innovation.

Moreover, this coalition presents significant benefits to the World Bank regarding accountability and collaboration. Partnering with civil society organizations enhances transparency, allowing for more effective monitoring and evaluation of clean energy projects. It also fosters a collaborative framework that encourages ongoing dialogue between stakeholders, leading to informed decision-making and strengthened trust in the World Bank’s initiatives.

As we move forward, the coalition calls on other civil society members who share a commitment to clean energy and community empowerment to join this vital effort. By uniting our voices and resources, we can create a more sustainable energy future for all, ensuring that the benefits of clean energy are felt widely and equitably.
